The starter is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members, their guests, and all visitors by controlling the first tee and maintaining the tee time schedule.

Position Responsibilities

1. Know and perform all the 15 Basic Standards of Coral Hospitality Service which will be provided during work orientation
2. Greet all members, guests, and visitors with a smile
3. Provide information regarding starting times, pace of play, and course conditions
4. Confirm all players names and tee times
5. Maintain range and notify bag room when ball supply is low
6. Keep golf shop informed about pace of play
7. Arranges players in proper starting order
8. Supplies players with scorecards, pencils and rules of play
9. Maintain constant communication lines with the pro shop about check-in of all players

Physical Demands

The position is expected to be outside for their entire shift. The ability to lift and carry golf bags that may weigh up to 40 lbs. is required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time as experienced in a sub-tropical climate.
